We recently received a note from Will and Alice in Hong Kong, who are the proud parents of a baby boy. His name is "Yin" (it means good and honor in Chinese).

Will says: "In Chinese tradition, a newborn baby will receive many gifts, such as clothes, gold pieces and a red bag (with money inside). For my son, we have received over 10 golden chains and golden plates, almost all of them are painted with cartoons, Micky Mouse, Donald Duck, etc.. So I know why Disney earns so much money every year!

Then, we also have a party with our relatives for the baby. It is usually held a month after the baby is born. We call it a "Full Month Party".

My son was born on 18 Sept., 1997.  There are more pictures on my homepage at: http://www.hkstar.com/~willkwok"
