OK, try this: The word "samba" means to rub navels together (navel is your belly button area). The phrase "to get fired" comes from long again when clans wanted to get rid of some people who were unwanted and without killing them would just burn their houses down. Now it means to lose your job, which for many people is probably just as bad as having your house burned down.
